eve_primeJ is feeling pretty wiped out from his cold; I don’t envy him having to get up for the airport on four hours’ sleep. He’ll have to drive, too, having been too tired to make any rideshare arrangements. Earlier he worked a full day, did a Covid test, then went to the Magic prerelease, wearing a mask; he left after three of the four rounds.
Meanwhile, I watched the Friday movie, which this time was a totally bonkers post-apocalyptic Australian adventure, Tank Girl. I’d never heard of it or the comic it’s based on. I wasn’t sure whether I liked it at first, but it went so bizarre that I decided I did (their eventual allies are genetically engineered kangaroo-human hybrids – except for the one who’s an English-speaking human-shaped kangaroo-dog).
Then when J was back, we watched the first episode of season two of Frieren, hooray! J says he’ll want to watch it again when it’s been dubbed into English. It almost didn’t matter, because he couldn’t get the audio to work – I had to walk back to my house for my laptop – then it transpired that he had muted that tab. (I didn’t even know tabs were mute-able!?) Now I want to re-watch season one.
