Countdown on the proposal – it’ll be gone in 11 days at most. Today I worked on the website instead, and instead of driving to work to meet with Z, I drove to her house (about four blocks away) instead. She explained the workings of the big new loom she has there, for her weaving apprenticeship, and we talked about kids, and eventually we did talk about work. She has a lot of tall windows, and great light, without the brightness that I dislike.
After dark, I dragged both D. and J. to the star party, where we looked at Saturn, Mars, the Moon, and Arcturus; J. looked at Jupiter too. So that makes two evenings in a row where we went out and did something different and even somewhat spontaneous – which, honestly, is a little surprising since I’m still under the weather from the antibiotics
