Lillian likes curling up on the cable box, which is deliciously warm, but the other day it made a whining noise while she was doing that, so I’ve blocked it off. Unfortunately, her idea of the next best napping place is the keyboard of my laptop, and I haven’t yet learned to make that impractical. I keep coming home to find my do-list embellished with long lists of random characters, and unusual features being activated for the first time ever. Today I arrived to find the computer in the final stages of shutting down – if only I’d been here two minutes earlier!
