Today I went to my friend T’s “Naked Lady Party.” It’s a clothing exchange, among friends. I ended up with three new shirts (long-sleeved plain pullover-types, brown, red, and light slate blue), and a vivid fuchsia-colored wrap that will look very nice with my long dark-blue dress. I also ended up with a DVD of the original Pink Panther movie, yay. And I had nice conversations with at least four of my friends, three of whom I barely knew a year ago.
Also I wanted to comment that the last few seconds of this week’s Legend of Korra episode contained enough material for nearly half an hour’s speculation by myself, J, and D. Was that really Sokka? And were the earth- and air-benders Toph or Bei-Fong and Tenzin? The air-bender had an arrow on his hand, not his head, so Tenzin seems more likely than Aang. Then age-wise the water-tribe man may have been Sokka’s son, or what? No sign of Sokka yet in the new series anyway. Also, age-wise, it looked like this courtroom (or council-room) scene was happening about the time when Aang died and Korra was born. We’re wondering – and this may be pretty wild speculation – but was the man whose fate they were deciding in fact the father of the new villain, and could the new villain (can’t remember his name) then have retaliated by murdering Aang? Someone with his talents could easily murder someone without anyone knowing the death was unnatural.
