Resolutions: January report

eve_primeBooks. I didn’t complete the first one I started (Arendt’s The Origins of Totalitarianism, but I did finish two others in my designated stack: Roszak’s The Making of a Counter Culture and Palmer’s Inventing the Renaissance. For February, I actually have three books in mind: Lippmann’s Public Opinion, then Dewey’s The Public and its Problems (between them, a “Lippmann-Dewey debate”), and also Jemisin’s The Fifth Season.
Boxes. I did manage to sort and empty two boxes, but it was a struggle! I didn’t finish until around 8:30 pm yesterday.
Beans. I got to a great start on my legumes project – I think I ate black beans, refried beans, hummus, and split pea soup, for a total of six servings. Then I started having low blood sugar issues, and I didn’t want to deal with that while J was gone and then Ajani’s dental surgery, so I stopped for the month. I’ll try again in February.
