Let the three-day weekend begin!
May. 25th, 2012 10:30 pmLet’s see. The weather improved, so I got to mow some of the lawn, and I dug up a few of the most flagrant dandelions. We’re a bit further along on the DoJ proposal, and I may only have another hour or two’s worth of dissertation edits, plus of course the dreaded formatting and front matter.
J. and I went out to eat. The bar & grill I had in mind had closed, to be replaced by a new one that had its door open for some final construction task, so there were far too many flies inside for my comfort. We ended up at Chapala, which was fine, except that things were a bit slow, so I ended up taking J’s car to pick D. up from his school dance and bring him back to the restaurant. Then on the way home, the whole eastern half of the sky was filled with big, rosy clouds. I dashed out of the house with the camera. The color was no longer so intense, but I had fun anyway.

And three minutes later:
