Cinco de Mayo? Supermoon Beltaine? Nah, just lots and lots of data analysis.

Today was, by all accounts, a beautiful day, full of sunshine and spring flowers, almost warm even. But was I outside enjoying it? Nah... too wobbly and worn out, though at least my stomach didn’t actively hurt much today. Instead I was lying on the bed, running data analyses for my dissertation. I finished up the prevalence section, then I redid the theme scales the way G. wanted them (which was way more interesting), then I worked on the free response data for quite a while. Every so often I’d venture out into the main room, where D. would regale me with details about his adventures in The Realm of the Mad Gods, where his knight character had acquired some super shield that let him survive much more easily. I ate several meals of white rice and cheddar, and eventually I gave up on work, in favor of a Globe Trekker episode about the cuisines of Israel and Palestine. (Salad for breakfast!) Soon, I think, J. and I will go outside to look for the super moon. Then we’ll watch some more Captain Tylor, before the new episode of Bleach comes on.

I’d hoped to go to at least one of two parties this evening, but really with my energy level it was out of the question. But, reading what I just wrote about my day, I guess it does seem fairly full, doesn’t it? And tomorrow, Sherlock comes back, and I will make a point to spend time in the garden. My forget-me-nots are so pretty right now.
