Cleaning and fretting

eve_primeToday, I finished cleaning the freezer, and I cleaned under the couch cushions, and I even started cleaning my dissertation data (the student part).
I also learned, however, that I can’t get January funding for writing proposals, which means I might well not have any income for January (beyond the .05 FTE I get from H’s project), which then leads to losing benefits and my winter term tuition reimbursement (although our company admin budget is also getting slashed, which could mean no tuition reimbursement anyway). Yuck. I guess I would have to be very, very frugal for the next 2-3 months until I find out if my proposal gets funded (for July), and if not, I’ll have to start looking for a job, I guess. More yuck. And meanwhile I have oodles of (unpaid) work to do...
