“Ding-Dong Merrily on High”

I love the Unitarian Renaissance Christmas concerts – they’re really good musicians, and they have interesting tastes, and I can picture myself in the holiday revelries at the court of Henry VIII or Elizabeth. This year’s theme was English composers (Byrd, Parsons, Holborne, etc.). Last year was French, and not long ago they focused on Praetorius.(I wish I had all of my old David Munro albums on CD!) J. came with me and enjoyed it too. The program has extensive educational notes, which I should now pore over.
