eve_primeD. is an afficionado of funny YouTube videos, and today he showed me one of his favorites, or rather, a pair that go together. First, there’s a video advertising the wildlife taxidermy skills of a guy named Chuck Testa. Then there’s a video in which the first video has been put to music. One scene in the video is a woman going, “Oh no, there’s a bear in my bed!” as she turns to see a large, dark, stuffed, formerly living bear beside her. The taxidermist then pops up from the other side of her bed, announcing in a deadpan voice, “No, Chuck Testa.” And then the woman turns to the camera with a big fake smile. (Creepy and hilarious.)
Well, naturally, at bedtime, once I’d joked about the various teddy bears in or near his bed, it occurred to him that we could join in the parody, and once he stopped giggling, we filmed this scene, and yes, he plans to upload it tomorrow. And no, I will not be providing links to this work of art.
