It’s my favorite weather to listen to – wind in the trees in the dark – and my favorite weather to walk in, as well, as long as the raindrops aren’t too large or frequent.
Today, hmm, I worked on my proposal all day, save for a quick trip to return a library book and get more volunteer training at D’s school. Then I watched Sanctuary with dinner, helped J. find Kennedy’s Irish Pub and Curry House in San Francisco, and bought office supplies for D, then took a short walk through wind and wet leaves before picking him up. We watched half a Mythbusters episode, then he started reading the sixth Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, which I’d surprised him with today, and then at bedtime we finished the fourth Tiffany Aching book, I Shall Wear Midnight, after which he remarked that he doesn’t like the bittersweet feeling when a series ends. But perhaps Pratchett could manage one more? We’ll see.
D’s report card: A, A, A+, A+, P, A. And the first of those A’s would have been an A+ if he’d brought a ruler to class on a certain day.
