D. left his reading book in his locker right before the deadline again, but this time I found out about it early enough, and we were able to get it from the school before they locked the upper hallway, so he didn’t have to pay for it online. It’s the second Cirque du Freak book. So that’s how he spent all of his afternoon and evening, other than the rest of his homework. I know he’s looking forward to the weekend!

She loves when it inexplicably starts to spit out a document, and she did her very best to make it happen on her own, digging into the one sheet of paper in the input tray (until she’d managed to shred it), and pressing her nose in there too.
