In the general spirit of NaNoWriMo, I’m going to see about getting some papers out (“Manuscript Finishing”) this month.

Out the door to a journal:

• The IRT model building paper, which we’ve been working on for something like seven years.

Off my desk and back to coauthors:

• The metaphors of smokeless tobacco addiction paper.
  
• The development and evaluation paper for my R21 grant.

And for good measure, maybe incorporation of committee comments into...:

• The background and measures sections of my dissertation.

That doesn’t seem very ambitious, but I do have a proposal due in early December. And if I should find myself with two proposals due in early December, all bets are off.
