Oct. 27th, 2011 10:36 pmToday was school conference day, so I went to meet with D’s language arts teacher. She loves him! She loves his “voice” when he writes, and how well he expresses himself, and how he makes her laugh. Yay!
We really like watching Penn & Teller Tell a Lie. If you fire a bullet at a samurai sword edge-on, it splits neatly into two. Who’d have guessed that a butter knife can do the same thing? And who’d have guessed that if you clean out the sidewalk cracks in NYC’s jewelry district, you can make $300 a day from the gold flakes and tiny gemstones?
