• We finally ordered the other pieces D. needs for his “ninja pig” costume: a pig nose, some fake weapons with sheaths, and a black t-shirt that he’ll get a lot of use out of the rest of the year.
  
• He really loves the National Geographic show “Brain Games.” Too bad there are only three episodes. The first was about perceptual illusions, and the second, which we started tonight, is about attention, illustrated with examples from sleight-of-hand and an expert pickpocket. The third will be about memory.
  
• Also we watched this week’s Mythbusters (duct tape airplane!) and Modern Family, and I watched the first three episodes of a very Cosby-like show starring Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Reed Between the Lines. The featured actress is pretty entertaining.
  
• I did get some work done, but not a lot since my attention is still pretty depleted, with this cold. The work I got done consisted of meeting with G. and discussing my data set. I guess I'll do some more now.
