I've been working on recruitment for my dissertation study today. It's a hassle.
Meanwhile, it does look feasible to revise the study that just got rejected. If it gets funded (a real long shot at this point), then I'd have work again starting in July or so. For November and December, I'll be down around .35 FTE, just barely enough to keep my health insurance.
