fractal9091 (who had previously never been a hospital patient since his birth) seemed more dehydrated than we could reliably manage, so we went down to the E.R. They gave him an I.V. and took out more blood than I liked to see, and later they took x-rays too. The verdict was some viral pneumonia on top of the ’flu, so they loaded us up with drugs and paperwork and sent us home again. It took most of the afternoon. He’s much better now than he was at this time yesterday.
