eve_primeI got to watch a bunch of the annual fifth grade track meet, which was really fun, and I posted a few photos to Facebook. I was glad to have my umbrella, though.
After being too afraid to look, for weeks, today I found that my old hard drive really does have all my old data on it, just as it should. (The IT guy had claimed he'd copied all of it to my new computer, which most definitely does not have more than a small fraction of it.) I now need to download it all so I can give back this special bay thing that’s housing it.
My proposal is in pretty good shape, and I sent the current version to my more senior colleagues to get their wise input. I also wrote an abstract and made progress on the budget.
D. and I watched Monsters vs. Aliens with dinner and thereafter, though I ended up sleeping through all the combat. He made up a special dance to “Purple People Eater” and we listened to that song (in the closing credits) at least five times. I’d rather have kept listening to the B-52's’ “Planet Claire,” but he didn’t like it quite as much.
