Eve of The Natty

eve_primeTomorrow’s the national championship game. One of our players (the one who gives the best interviews) has dubbed this event “The Natty,” and somehow that made it into my dreams last night. Various Harry Potter characters kept asking if today would be The Natty, and the answer kept being, no, it’s tomorrow.
I spent more than an hour looking for a library book today, and I’m at least 99% sure that I didn’t do anything with it in the last 12 months except renew it, so it really ought to have been near the two books on the same topic that were last renewed on the same day. But nope.
In reading Alice to D. this evening, I couldn’t help but note to myself that the phrase “Mad Tea Party” has a whole new meaning these days.
