Tuesday stuff
Oct. 8th, 2024 11:57 pmToday started off somewhat smoky, but by evening it was all cleared up. I had good energy, and it felt like I was getting stuff done, and also that the day was basically "normal," which was great, after all the travel that J's been doing lately.
Lately, when I've been reading on J's couch, all slouched down and comfy, Azalyn has used my chest as a springboard, landing with a great thump and then leaping off again. This is Not Fun for me, and I've been wondering what to do about it. J suggested I could use his old chest armor, which is plastic, not the new fancy steel stuff, so this evening I put it on. Not a big surprise: The armor is not designed to be worn in that position and was pressing into my throat uncomfortably. J suggested I could buy my own (it's only $30 or so) and cut off enough to make it comfortable. I very much doubt I'm going to do that, but it sure was a funny idea.
