In which "we" arrive in London

eve_primeJ and his mom C are now in London. When they got back to the airport, the flight had been delayed yet again, but only slightly this time. And because C had asked us to request special accommodations for her due to her age (81), the two of them got to board the plane before everyone else! It was already dark out when they got there, and J had fun photographing the London skyline, as I guess the plane had circled over the main city before landing. They made it to the hotel and checked in, then slept about 9 hours, and now they're ready to start their day just as I'm getting ready for bed.
I had fun thinking about London today, too. I watched a Rick Steves episode in which he visited a variety of places they'd mentioned they might see, along with others, and then I started a reread of Connie Willis's Blackout.
