A pretty Sunday
Aug. 18th, 2024 11:58 pmToday we had lovely weather, clear skies and not hot, just pretty. J was busy with this very tiresome coding thing he has to do every summer, although he did take a nice break to ride his bike all the way to the far side of the wetlands.
I went to The Tempest again, which was fun, although at one point I found myself wondering whether there was anyone else there whom I know. The crowd was much larger than two weeks ago, maybe 150 people this time, but there wasn't anyone obviously familiar. But when the play was done and we were all folding up our chairs and packing up our snacks, I saw that my good friend BHW was actually at the next blanket over from me! She was with a friend of hers named Jennifer, who had been blocking my view of her.

Date: 2024-08-19 07:39 pm (UTC)I'm glad I saw The Tempest again too, and I'm also glad that I didn't show up right at the beginning. The storm is very loud, and after that, it's mostly Prospero yelling until 25 minutes into the play.
