Low-key Friday

Today's plans were to do a bunch of yardwork, read a bunch, and maybe watch the Friday movie. For much of the day, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure was in the lead, and I didn't feel a need to see it a second time, and I also expected that J. would very much not enjoy seeing it for a first time. I was just going to read outside all evening. But then it clouded up and got cooler, so we cast our votes for Back to the Future 2, and it won, and we watched it. I was pretty sleepy all evening after that, even though I hadn't done much yardwork - I just mowed alongside the driveway and moved the remaining oak branches from one spot to another. Maybe this week's concerts took more out of me than I'd realized.
