Visiting family, day 4

Today was our last day with the two guests. We had a barbecue (burgers, hot dogs, roasted corn) In the afternoon, and DG and AA came over, as well as D, who hadn’t seen them yet this visit. After we ate, J’s nephew wanted to do some sword-dueling with D, so we got out the nerf swords, and everyone had a go except for me and DG. Then around 6:30 pm, J drove them to Portland and drove himself safely home again (slightly more than four hours). The cats aren’t yet convinced that they have their house back, but I’m sure they’ll settle soon.
