Visiting family, day 3 - resting!

Today I woke up feeling pretty tired, although I'd slept well. Maybe my body is still recovering from all the work my immune system did last week? I decided to take things easy. I rewatched the sixth Hailey Dean movie, and I watched the final episode of Carter, a very entertaining show that didn't survive the pandemic. Then I went to J's house to watch the Friday movie with the others - it was the first episode of the three-part Dinotopia miniseries.

At that point, J and his brother and nephew went out to dinner at Mandy's, and I very happily stayed home and sat outside and read. (The air quality was fine again!) Ambrose and Azalyn were so happy to see me, and one or the other was on my lap almost the whole time I was out there. After they came back, I showered then went inside and watched J's nephew playing Ori and the Blind Forest, then they went to bed and I watched J. playing Hades II. Altogether, it was a relaxing day.

Meanwhile, the three of them did a morning bike ride through the neighborhood parks, then they went to our friends' Lego store, then J napped in his comfy chair while his brother took another bike ride, this time toward the Amazon Creek headwaters (near DG and AA's house). D, meanwhile, worked all day then went out for Thai food with his dad to celebrate his birthday.
