Day 1245: Finally!
Aug. 17th, 2023 10:03 pmAround 8 pm, the smoke cleared away, and I sat outside for a while, even though it was hot and kind of humid. Starting tomorrow, the weather should be back to normal, and I hope we'll get at least a few days without smoke.
Yesterday I reported that J. had felt unwell soon after getting home, and he thought the smoke was the problem, but by bedtime he was talking about Malaysia. When he won a trip to play Magic at the pro tour in Malaysia, he felt ill soon after arrival and blamed it on the air pollution, but it turned out he was actually ill. Same here - his fever was gone this morning but he does seem to have a cold, probably the one his nephew had. So I bought him some chicken soup and orange juice, and he's all bundled up and napping in his comfy chair.
