I got stuff.
Sep. 21st, 2006 09:09 pmI went to do errands and found that I was in a really expansive mood. Basically, I went to the library for Dzur (fantasy novel, next in the Vlad Taltos series by S. Brust) and Journey to the River Sea (D's next bedtime reading: English girl moves to Brazilian rainforest in 1910). I ended up also coming home with Issola, which came right before Dzur, so I can reread it first, and also I decided what D's next two bedtime books will be: Dahl's The Witches and then Redwall.
Then I went to the used game store to see if they had Suikoden and FF IX (they did not). Then I realized I was walking past another used game store, which incidentally has really unusual decor -- dark grey, all sorts of hoses and tubes and cables and ancient TV sets, all sort of fused together. This one didn't have the games I want either, but I felt like spending money, and thus D. will get the Disney Tarzan and Yu-Gi-Oh games for PSX at some future gift-giving occasion.
