For tomorrow, "hop like a bunny."
Sep. 9th, 2005 08:35 pmIt's hard to adjust to waking up an hour earlier for kindergarten. I was a bit too spacy in the afternoon to think clearly enough for writing (or for reviewing 10 articles to learn how other research teams handle differential attrition), so instead I watched part of a 1967 version of Vanity Fair, which caught my eye in the library earlier today. It stars Susan Hampshire, whose picture I posted in this journal four days ago (in her Molly MacDonald role). Frankly, she's more attractive now than in the movie -- the makeup they had her in made her look like a living mannequin. The movie's okay, very different from the recent one, but it's been so long since I've read the book that I couldn't judge which is more faithful to it. I don't like the lighting -- too much of it, as if houses in 1812 had electricity. Oh, Pop-Secret now markets "snack-sized" portions, which is good, because I always eat the full-sized bags in one sitting anyway.
D. has homework now, a whole calendar-full. For today, "Practice zipping and unzipping." Tomorrow, "Hop like a bunny."
