Day 648: Christmas Eve

eve_primeIt's a fine Christmas so far, though I'm inexplicably tired. We opened our gifts on Christmas Eve, as usual, with stockings to follow in the morning. J's mom gave me tons of books - I think I had at least five more packages to open than anyone else, even with J. opening all the gifts addressed to the two of us. I'll post about them later, if I remember. After that we ate pasta, then the three of us watched Elf. J. hadn't seen it before and was skeptical because it stars Will Ferrell, but he laughed quite a bit.
My sister phoned to say they decided not to come tomorrow evening after all, as she's concerned about Omicron. Too bad, but then we can relax tomorrow even more, as we won't need to do any more cleaning.
