Day 646: Further along

eve_primeThe kittens are doing great, although it will still be a while before Tertius forgives us for the night in the carrier. The other two are as cuddly as ever, and they're all eating well. (J. is grateful that all three of them are now using the litterboxes.) Update - Tertius came running to me for petting, so, whew!)
I ventured out into the rain to buy the food for Christmas dinner, then the three of us decorated the tree. Then D. headed off to his girlfriend's to play videogames, J. went to sword class, and I settled in for a whole lot of wrapping. I guess it's not really that bad; everything is regularly shaped. I wrapped seven for J. and seven for D; I have two more to wrap for D. and two for his girlfriend, S. It's looking a lot more festive under the tree! Tomorrow we should bring over the gifts that J's mom shipped to us.
And now I can actually relax! We're listening to a "Yule Log" video of Calcifer from the Howl's Moving Castle video. Definitely cozy.
