Day 642: Kind of meh

eve_primeWe're having a wonderful windstorm outside, but it's best appreciated from indoors, as whatever it's stirring up out there was making it hard for me to breathe. I woke up feeling rather cruddy, but I did make it downtown and I think I've finished shopping for the stocking stuffers (plus finding a last-minute gift for B's girlfriend, which was great - Update - I don't think she'd like it, oh well). Anyway, by the time I got home I had a headache, so I mostly rested in bed reading. I went to J's house around 8 pm, but he'd been eating fritos and it smelled nauseating! An hour and a half later, it was okay and I returned.
Meanwhile, D. had also woken up feeling unwell, and clumsy on top of that. At work he forgot to put on the safety glove, and he ended up slicing one of his fingers. :( He had to put on a lot of bandaids to stop the bleeding. I don't know if he'd have benefitted from going to the urgent care to see if he needed stitches, but he didn't try for that; he just worked until the day was done.
