Day 637: A small surprise

eve_primeJ. and I had dinner downtown with DG, as we often do on Mondays, then I followed them to the game store and watched them get ready to play Magic. Then I remembered I wanted to buy J's birthday card at Hiron's then get stuff done at home, so I left. Hiron's has a much better selection of cards than our neighborhood store. So I drove to Hiron's, parked, and went in - only to encounter D&S busily shopping. I'd assumed that D. was still at home playing League of Legends, as he had been when I left, not at a random store two miles from our house!
Once J. got home from Magic (rather late) he put the finishing touches on his mentorship project talk, which he's presenting twice tomorrow morning. I spent an hour and a half listening to him practice. Fortunately, our work is similar enough that I could give what he considered good feedback. I hope it goes smoothly!
