Day 618: Thanksgiving "Eve"
Nov. 24th, 2021 10:35 pmToday I made the pie dough and we finished shopping - good thing I still had a half-stick of shortening, as the supermarket was altogether out. We also went to the Verizon store to try, yet again, to finalize the transfer of my landline number to J's old Samsung Galaxy S5, which now resides in my bedside drawer. Maybe it's done now? I will save $67 a month!
D. seems fine today, other than stressing about having to find two people to provide data for the paper he has to write in the next two weeks. I've come up with multiple suggestions, given the limitations imposed by the assignment, and hopefully on Friday he'll try asking them. This is his least favorite part of school - having to ask people for help.
Here's the first photo I took with the new phone. The Pixel 6 is recognized as especially good with night photography. This photo was taken at 5:11 pm, which was 31 minutes after the official sunset.
