Day 605: Cleeeaning

eve_primeToday I tackled the dustiest corner of my bedroom, where I keep old computers and such. I spent something like two hours cleaning it up, then let the dust settle for two hours, then went back in and vacuumed. I listened to Mozart's two minor-key string quartets while doing it - the earlier cleaning, that is, not the vacuuming. During my break I watched a very entertaining Monk episode about his nemesis getting a lot of favorable publicity.
Meanwhile, J. drove all the way to Portland to meet some of his new Discord friends in person. He has a long history of travelling distances to meet online friends in person - like me! They had dinner at a restaurant called Jinx and hung out talking a while, then he drove back home.
D. had the day off from school - the university finally got around to observing Veteran's Day - but he was stressing about a big paper he has to write. I hope that spending the evening at his girlfriend's house will have been relaxing for him.
