Day 595: Gorogoa
Nov. 1st, 2021 11:58 pmThis evening J. and I played a pretty puzzle game called Gorogoa. A fine game and very lovely to look at, but it lasted a bit longer than we'd have liked, as we were pretty tired by the end of the two-hour play-through.
I'd probably overdone things yesterday, and today I woke feeling kind of wiped out (probably still a bit sick) and just stayed home. I did quite a bit of housework anyway - filling the yard debris bin, doing the week's laundry, plus scrubbing the kittens' housing structure (stacked baskets) and washing their bedding. We let them back out of the garage, but Azalyn seemed to want to stay in there. (She likes to dash inside our houses too.) Oberon was quite happy to get his little buddies back.
Also, yesterday when I woke up my ankle hurt! I was surprised to find how many web pages address the problem of waking with a sore ankle. My theory was that I'd just slept with it in a wrong angle, like when you twist your wrist funny while you're sleeping and then it hurts all day. I'm happy to report that my theory was probably correct, as it was fine today.
