The Grove of the Caesars, by Lindsey Davis. This is the 8th in the Flavia Albia mystery series, her follow-up to the Falco series. The first seven books were each set on a different one of Rome's seven hills, and this one was in the Transtiberina district. I read this one last year, when it was new, and I reread it so I can have it fresh in my mind when I start the new one, since each one is pretty much set immediately after its predecessor. (I remember I posted the cover of this one when I read it last year, because it's so pretty!) In this one, Albia solves the mystery of a serial killer who's been targeting women in a garden dedicated to Augustus's two grandchildren.
