eve_primeWe are so fortunate to have air conditioning. I spent the day in my room, mostly, reading, and today's book was I've Got Your Number, an outrageously funny and complex "chick lit" book by Sophie Kinsella, the author of that other book I had such fun with recently.
Tomorrow is quite worrying. Will the outdoor cats be okay? I'm only able to catch one of them, and he would be pretty stressed to be captured and put somewhere strange like J's garage. I'll have to keep an eye on them. Today I gave them extra wet food, in case that's how some of them prefer to get their water supply.
We are even more worried about Eugene's many homeless people, but we have no way to help them. We did invite our friends with the new baby, who don't have air conditioning. Maybe they'll come and relax in J's house.
