Day 441: Ow

Just over 9 hours ago, I fumbled a salad plate while emptying the dishwasher and dropped it on my foot. It landed edge-first, and the plate did not break! However, apparently it was heavy enough that in falling that far it smacked my foot pretty hard, and by this point my next-to-pinkie toe has turned purple and still hurts quite a bit. Not as much as when I broke a toe two other times, thankfully. Perhaps it's just badly bruised?

Today's big project was cleaning up the mess in J's livingroom that has accumulated over the past 15 months. We did pretty well, although each of us has more to do with our respective messes. We also got J's lawn mowed so we can do a barbecue tomorrow.
