Day 428: In which time is gobbled up
May. 17th, 2021 11:55 pmI'd had this mental picture that I'd get the book proposal to the publisher at the beginning of May, then get a whole bunch of other things done, including making major progress on the grant proposal due in June, then do my vaccination, then resume working on the book and related projects.
Nope. All my time has been eaten up with the estate distribution, my failed car, and tons of other things. I hadn't made allowances for doing my taxes, but I still haven't started them, and I haven't started working on the grant proposal either.
I do a shocking amount of work, considering I don't get a paycheck.
Today's sword exercise class got cancelled so Sean could spend some important time with his in-laws, but I got plenty of exercise anyway. I walked to the post office for my second trip there (which means climbing and descending a moderate hill), and later I did a bunch of lawnmowing.
