Fugitive Telemetry, by Martha Wells. This is the fifth Murderbot novella, and the first published since the full-length novel, though I think it must come before it, chronologically. This time Murderbot is asked to help solve a murder on the space station above Preservation, its new home planet, where it guards Dr. Mensah - she's the planet's leader. It's a wonderfully idealistic planet, unlike most of the galaxy.

It's not a very meaty book, but I'm always glad to spend some time with Murderbot, enjoying its personality and basic competence.
