Today I felt fine, for which I'm grateful, and I did a lot of things. First, I drove David to get his allergy shot, and while he was doing that I returned two library books and picked up another, then went to the graphic novel store and bought the book J. needs for his book club. I'd had to borrow J's car, as mine wouldn't start (seems like a fuel system issue, as the engine turned over just fine). After we got home, I sent my sister the letter I've been working on for ages, then called the mechanic about my car (they can probably work on it Tuesday, otherwise Wednesday, and I'll get it towed there tomorrow most likely). Then I got an email from the tax accountant (finally!), so I emailed her to clarify that.

J's sword class was cancelled, as it had rained a bit earlier in the day, and the instructor had a family medical situation. So we went on a walk, and for fun we went somewhere different - up the hill to the cemetery. There were so many iris in bloom, but so much poison oak around them - anywhere south of the paved path was trouble. But there were nests in two of the trees! This is the same park where I found the red-breasted sapsuckers nesting in a birch tree two or three years ago, and now there are more! We watched the parents come and go for a while, then walked along the path around the property, which is pretty steep, meeting a friendly young golden retriever and enjoying the view to the mountains in the east.

After that, I showered (due to pollen) and watched this week's Eugene Symphony concert. Francesco especially enjoyed the "Suite from Psycho" (the Hitchcock film) - he was having too much fun.

Meanwhile, I've been having lots of fun planning the paper I've been hoping to write soon; I'll need to learn a bit more about neuroscience, I think.
