Day 319: Gamestop and Wagner?
Jan. 28th, 2021 10:57 pmIn today's watch party, Francesco connected this week's Gamestop debacle with that book I recently read about Wagnerism, which he's reading too, and also, vaguely, with a book he's been reading on behavioral economics. Fun! He also alluded to a program that can't be formally announced yet - apparently our local symphony is going to have a multi-year Wagner project, which he says will be the biggest seen in our state in 50 years! And he also has a multi-year project with the Santa Rosa Symphony on Rachmaninoff's symphonies. I doubt Santa Rosa's symphony performances would still be online at that point, and I'm rather more interested in listening to Rachmaninoff than Wagner, but in terms of education I think Wagner will be more useful for me. So, cool!
