It's the same story, from one perspective, with many of the same scenes, but with a whole lot of secret dragon stuff happening too. That is, if you were "dragon-deaf" you'd get the same story as we all know, but that's because you'd be blind to all the dragons at Longbourn. Mrs. Bennet, Jane, Kitty, Lydia, Mr. Collins, and the Bingley household are all dragon-deaf; Mr. Darcy, Elizabeth, Mr. Bennet, Mary, and the Gardiners are decidedly not.
The author has written six books in the series (and apparently quite a few other Austen-related books, both fiction and non-fiction), and I guess it's going to take an entire trilogy to tell the Pride and Prejudice story. The fourth book is a prequel? And the other two are related to Persuasion? I bought the first e-book for 99 cents, and I can get all six as e-books for maybe $10, which seems to be the way to go.
