Newwwwww laptop!

eve_primeMy laptop was scheduled to arrive today, and the mail delivery is right around 2 pm, so when JA wanted me to attend today's noon scientist council meeting in person, I was a bit concerned about whether I'd get home in time. And just as I turned onto my street, I found the mail truck at the last stop before my house, so, whew!
So far it's just fine, completely fine. The up and down buttons are sort of combined, and PgUp and PgDn are in spots I wouldn't expect them to be. And it's bulky, but I expected that and don't have a good reason to mind. Also, even without the fancy battery life of one of those super-slim top-rated machines, this one's doing quite well. It's been unplugged for a couple of hours, and it still has more than two hours of charge left.
