Today I read the last two-thirds of our book club book, Gone Girl, which is disturbing and kind of icky; it's also well-written. I might like rereading it, but I don't see myself reading more books by the same author. Basically, I'm not terribly fond of the unreliable narrator trope. I don't really want to spend that much time in the mind of someone who's deceiving me (or themselves).
How did I get so much time for reading? It came from being sick today and missing the board meeting. I wish I'd felt better and had gotten some work done, though.
