Saturday off

eve_primeI more or less took the day off, although my intention had been to finish up the proposal today. It turned out that I was so frazzled from yesterday that I didn't sleep well. So we went to the clarinet lesson, then J. and I worked on the blackberry vines encroaching on his yard, and then on the strawberry bed.
There are SO MANY strawberries right now!
J. went off to a Magic tournament, and then I read some outside for fun, and went out and picked up nice dinners for me and D, and then I put together a dinner for J. and took it to him, and then I watched some random TV then went on a twilight walk. I passed within three yards of an otherwise cautious doe, and enjoyed the skyline, the black conifers against the very dark blue sky.
