Okay, I've submitted D's application to the other high school. They have a pretty firm expectation of two or three openings, and based on past history they can expect that a few more may decide not to continue when this school year ends, or over the summer. Meanwhile, they have about five kids entered in the lobby, with D. making the sixth. It's random, with preference to kids in this part of town, so we'll have to wait until May or maybe even September to know for sure.
