A lovely day off
Dec. 27th, 2012 11:27 pmD. and I had such a nice, quiet day today; tomorrow he’s leaving on a weekend trip to visit his aged (but healthy and lively) grandparents. Mostly he played Guild Wars 2 while I did household stuff to keep him company, rather than working. He was able to finish the first adventure area (beyond his home area, I think). We also watched two Leverage episodes and played an hour or so of Diablo II. At his dad’s, he played some Portal 2, and he also spent some time looking through his Return to Ravnica cards, giving his day a major “game sequels” theme. Oh, and then at his bedtime, we finished our second reading of Year of the Griffin, the sequel to Diana Wynne Jones’s Dark Lord of Derkholm. Nice to get things wrapped up before his trip.
