Today I met with G. about the next step for my dissertation – in my opinion, it’s not publishable in a peer-reviewed journal until I’ve done the next-step study, but G. thinks there are still more interesting things I could do with existing data and perhaps collecting further data before I start designing a new study. Much to do, and also I need to get started on our next proposal, while he travels to Italy, Ethiopia, and South Africa for a couple of weeks.

Also today we started moving J. into his new apartment, as the experiment of living with roommates and an ever-increasing number of chickens and dogs and such has run its course. The new apartment will be pretty nice once the scent of the carpet cleaning has dissipated.

So much to do! I hope soon to have a few days to take stock of my backlog of pushed-aside projects and priorities.
