Frogs!

What fun! We went on an impromptu hike to find the pond in the woods beneath Baldy Ridge. We saw at least half a dozen brown frogs, most of them fairly small but one was bigger. Not so many wildflowers (scotch broom, a bit of vetch and camas, and some naturalized hawthorn trees), but also a banana slug and four deer.
